Today, I got the pictures of the last month's wedding ceremony from my mam.
Those are pictures of my cousin, who was the heroine of the wedding, and me, who was wearing Kimono to celebrate.
I was relieved when I saw those pictures, because I photographed better than usual.
So, I guess, I could made my grandma happy because she is the person who lend us the Kimono .

I can imagine the pretty pictures, Saku, how nice. And I am glad your ankle is healing. Sometimes sprains remain a little tender a long time.
Just a couple very small corrections for this excellent post of yours: it's celebrate (with a "l", not an "r" there--I think the l and r sounds are confusing for Japanese speakers) and also lend, not "rend" (same problem).
Also you would probably say that you photographed "better than usual" (instead of well than usual). Or you could just say you photographed well.
It is always interesting seeing photos of oneself. I just had a photo in our local paper (a politician was visiting and as a health center advocate I was part of a small group talking with him). Slow news day in the small town, so they put it on the front page. I thought it was truly an awful photo, but everyone tells me it is a great one--which makes me feel worse. But I laugh at myself. Vanity is a funny thing.
OK, I corrected.
I always check my spelling, but if there is a word with a different meaning, then, I just miss the word.
I found that "cerebrate" is a verb and means a brain works or something like this; and "rend" means tear apart.
Now, it’s a totally different sentences. I felt a little shame.
No need to feel any shame whatsoever, Saku. I use spell check when I am writing official things, and yes, it never catches those words that are real (if wrong in my context) words. I have come up with some very strange sentences without realizing it.
I think it is very admirable that you are working so hard on English. Your posts are often very poetic and well written. (I would hate to think what I'd come up with if I tried Japanese--think how far ahead you are!)
