A Misfortune Or a Fortune?

I wrenched my right ankle when I made a false step climbing down stairs.
It hurt a lot at that time, but I could walk. Fortunately, I didn't have any classes after that, so I went grocery shopping as I had originally planned, then came back home.

The place I felt strong pain didn't look bad at all when I first checked at home. But now, it's swelling up a little, so I put on compresses as the instruction of first-aid treatment for a wrenched ankle (on the web) suggested.
This looked to be very common care for my case.

And now, I should rest my foot until it's healed... maybe about a week.

One very very good thing for this incident is this;
A really nice looking guy, who I had seen in a corridor just before, came and spoke to me.

I forget my pain at the moment he said, "Are you OK?" I replied I'm OK, and slowly stood and started walking. But it was hard to keep a grin off my face just after that.
That was very nice.

This is a charming story, Saku. I have a sprained left foot at the moment, but I can't say any cute guys came up to check on me when it happened (but then, I am happily involved with the same guy for a long, long time). I hope your ankle heals quickly.
Your English is so impressive. I like the way you handle somewhat complicated sentences with such grace.
Here are a couple small corrections:
It hurt very much (instead of "it hurt very") or maybe you could write "It hurt a lot"
This looked like very common care (instead of "this looked very common care"); you could also say something like "this looked to be very common care..."
This sentence stopped me a bit: "And now I shouldn't move the foot so hardly until it's healed". I know what you mean, but "hardly" in this sentence doesn't sound correct. Actually, I am not totally sure what you want to say. If you are saying you need to move your foot only very delicately and carefully (instead of strongly, or with hard force) that's one thing...I kind of think you are saying you should rest your foot? In which case probably you should write that "I should rest my foot until it's healed" .
And you should, but I know how difficult that is. Elevating your foot--putting it up on a pillow or something when you rest--can help. Also sometimes it helps doing hot and then cold compresses.
I hope you meet the cute guy again under nicer circumstances!

Again, thank you for the clear corrections and the kind suggestions!

I still feel some pain today (Nov. 4), but it's becoming very soft. So I guess, it'll be healed completely in next week.

I hope your ankle is continuing to heal, Saku (it's the 7th today; I did some work on my computer and lost all my bookmarks and had to search for your site to bookmark it again--you would be surprised how many "Saku" blogs there are out there.) My foot (it was the top of the foot I sprained) is also getting better, mostly thanks to some very big, ugly, soft shoes a friend has lent to me. They don't press on the place that hurts. Much better. Have you seen the charming guy again?
