Minor Mistakes

I finally realized why I couldn't get a good score on Math.

This is because of minor mistakes that I commonly make, such as forgetting a negative sign, doing strange addition or subtraction, or changing a number when I write it in another page.

I've been making these mistakes when I'm solving equations, but I hadn't had recognized that this is a problem as serious as forgetting a formula.

We often take our minor mistakes lightly, but when they accumulate, they could be a really big problem.
I finally realized this, so I can make an effort to correct them.

I am always impressed with how nicely you handle complex sentences, Saku. How interesting that you have realized you are making little mistakes.
In your last paragraph "when they accumulate..." works better. Actually, let me paste in your sentence:"We often take our minor mistakes lightly, but when it accumulated, it would be a really big problem.
I finally realized about these, so I can make a effort to correct them".
Okay--try: when they accumulate, they could be a really big problem (or: they could cause really big problems).
And "I finally realized this, so I can make an effort to correct them" (note that "an" effort--one of those odd English rules: before a vowel--the letters a e i o u, instead of putting "a" we put "an". I think it's supposed to sound better, or something.)
I think it is excellent you are paying such close attention to your studies. I hope you are also having some fun too, Saku.

Yes, I know that important rule about the articles.
...I still have a long long way to go.
