From a Conscience

What is most important when you are going to give a present is that whether you can imagine the person's smile clearly or not.

If you can imagine his/her smile immediately after seeing the present, the choice will be right, but if you can't imagine, you would better to consider another choice.

This measurement can also apply to the case when you want to recommend something to a friend.

If you can imagine the friend's smile immediately after thinking about the thing, it will work well. The friend will buy the thing or join the activity you recommended.
But if you are seeking compliments for your recommendation deep inside you mind when you encourage him/her, your friend may reject you.

So, when you are going to recommend someone to do something, it's always better to examine your mind before you do that.

Only the activity that comes from a conscience will do a great job.

What a wonderful post this is, and well stated too. There is one tiny mistake, that was probably one of typing, not grammar--you have a "you" where you mean to have a "your". Look carefully and you will find it.
I will think of your good advice the next time I choose a gift for a friend.
