I guess I still don't know how fortunate I am to be in today's world compared to the past.
There was no PC only twenty years ago!

I'm a Japanese student trying to improve my writing skills in English. So if you have time, please correct my English. It'll greatly help my writing. Oh, you can write your comments without correcting my English, but please don't use the space for advertising...

Maybe there "was" no PC a few years (or did you write decades?) ago..because it is in the past.
I remember when I saw my first computer. I was around 11, and in an advanced class (they foolishly thought they'd make me into a scientist). A few students went on a long trip to some big corporation where we got to see a computer at work. The computer was a number of huge machines in a very large building.
It is amazing to me that now I sit and type at my small, friendly computer, and so many people have access to them. Astonishing world.
