It's sometimes said that you shouldn't trust a person's words 100%.
But it's also true that there is no such person who is a 100% liar. Any word expresses some aspects of the person's personality, so any word is not a 100% true but it's also not a 100% lie. Personally, I trust other people's words fifty-fifty.
But it's always very touching if they are from the person's heart. I think words are the sounds that we should hear by our hearts.
