When my mom and aunts were here, they bought basil in a pot, and now, it's on my desk with other two pots (African violet).
Right now, it seems OK with no direct sunlight.
I hope they keep alive, so that I can keep enjoy it's leaves.

Good for your basil for trying to stay alive without much sunlight--but it really does need some sun. You can keep it bushy by pinching off the tips and using them in cooking; fresh basil is wonderful.
