It seems that there are many layers in the human mind like an onion.

There is a thing that I haven't noticed even though I see it everyday.
A friend who sometimes visits tells me about it.

Be More Flexible

Regardless of other's opinions, I was just going the way I was.
But, I guess, I need to be more flexible.

Expectations

Sometimes, we face a perverse principle for expectations;
when we have high expectations, we get depressive results, but when we have low expectations, we get better results.

Or could I say like this?
"Sometimes, high expectations are welcomed by depressive results, and low expectations are greeted by positive outcomes."

A friend said that "When I'm cooking Takoyaki (octopus dumpling), I can clear my mind of clutter."
Cooking could be one way to clear our minds of thoughts.

It seems that I'm observing other people's mind, but, in the end, I am observing my own mind.

Grow

I want to grow as much as I can.
However, when I'm tired, I can rest for a while.
Then, I can grow again.

Sanshin

Starting yesterday, I will be keeping my friends' luggage for two weeks.

One of them is an musical instrument called "Sanshin" from the place where I grew. Since I'm really interested in this instrument, I got the permission of playing it for few times. (This instrument is better kept by playing too.)

So, I'm a little excited.

Cloudy Day

The gradation of the leaves in a cloudy day appears more beautiful than it's seen in a sunny day.
Cloudy day is not so bad.

A Small Path

When I saw a small path between houses from a bus, I felt that I wanted to explore it.

It could be just a path that leads to another house, but a path that I don't know where it leads has some charm in it.

Stupidity

Even while I'm distressed, the sun shines, a flower blossoms, and the breeze blows.
Then I feel stupid and stop worrying.

Words for blaming come up in my mind so easily, but the words for praising are not.
I want to train the latter one more.

When my mom and aunts were here, they bought basil in a pot, and now, it's on my desk with other two pots (African violet).
Right now, it seems OK with no direct sunlight.
I hope they keep alive, so that I can keep enjoy it's leaves.
