Just about an hour ago, when I was curling up on my small couch with a book, I saw lighting flash over the page. Then, within some seconds, I heard the rolling thunder.
This is the first time in about a year (I guess), we have had thunder.
How amazing the sound was!
We, humans, would never be able to produce such a huge, ferocious, and gorgeous sound.
Nature is certainly great.

Sounds like you like thunder storms. I do too, and we had a big one here a couple days ago. "I saw lightning flash over the page" and "we have had thunder" (or thunderstorms; oddly we don't use thunders. Don't know why).
Yes, nature is great and amazing.
Here we are getting lots and lots of rain. It has warmed up a bit, which is easier to bear, I think. I hate being both wet and cold!

It's a kind of exciting event, since I'm usually not in danger.
If I'm in a field where there is noting taller than me, then it'll be a really really scary thing.
