Today, my friend and I went to a concert, Handel's Messiah.
I had gotten a 2 for 1 ticket, which allows me to choose any concert during a specific period, from my violin teacher, so last Saturday when we were talking by phone, we chose today's Messiah.
This is the first time I saw The Messiah, and I was very moved by the soprano and bass. Their voice were really really nice. This was the first time I ever heard such a good soprano in person.
My friend was also delighted by this concert. She said like this Messiah was much better than the one she had seen last year at a church.
I was graddened by her words.

This sounds like it was a very lovely event for you and your friend. In my community some people get together and sing parts of the Messiah together at one of the churches--but, as you might imagine, their voices are not always the best! Still, everyone is happy.
A few corrections, Saku: you write:
"This is the first time I saw Messiah, and I was very moved by soprano and bass. Their voice were really really nice." For some reason we usually refer the this work of music as The Messiah; you might also want to say you were "very moved by the soprano and bass" (an Iranian blogger I sometimes visit online complains that the little words "a" and "the" and so on are very difficult for her; maybe it is so for others with other birth languages).
You would more properly write that your friend was delighted BY this concert (and I'll bet she was!).
And perhaps the last line might be "I was gladdened by her words" or something like that.
Hearing wonderful music live is a great treat. Many years ago a chamber music group from Australia visited my little town and did a concert that featured my favorite Beethoven string quartet (I loved this quartet so much I wore out my cassette tape version). I went to it, and it was so much better, so much more full an experience than hearing a tape recording. Wonderful.
