Yes, this is true. The word "process" though is a little strange in this context. It isn't wrong, but it means something like "really pay attention to and think about a long time". Which, if that is what you are trying to do, is excellent.
But if you want to just "achieve" something, or "understand" something, those words might work better.
"achieve" fits my feeling, therefore I changed the word.
