To a Suspicious Mind

It's OK to doubt something in which you feel is suspicious,
because it's a natural defensive reaction of humans based on the fear that you might be hurt by others. You think other people may hurt you, because you don't feel love from them. This is OK because people normally can't love someone who you don't know it's character. But it is also true that the strong suspicious sometimes cause problems. So what I recommend is this, not to cling to your doubt too much. You can take a somewhat gentle attitude for the subject, and it leads you to a more peaceful answer for your doubt.
