"Now"

I found one thing that can be considered as eternal.
That is the instant time called "now."
This "now" comes continuously and seems to last forever.

An Illusion

The reality we are seeing is really like an illusion.
We'll find a completely different reality by looking it from the other side.

Really

Everyone is different.
It is hard to really know this fact.

"World"

You are talking about the "world," but isn't it about the "TV" you are watching?
Oh, I guess that it is...

Everything is like that though.

Delight Someone

I should not hesitate to do something good for others.

Certainty

"Certainty" does not arise form "thinking."

Hear Wrong

I often hear wrong.
But several days ago, I saw another person heard wrong when we were talking.
This was the first time I saw someone besides me doing the same mistake, and I finally understand how I look to others in this respect.

The By-product of Diversity

The by-product of diversity is that there is a type of people with whom you cannot go well.

So, let's give up, and accept that even this fact contributes to make the world more beautiful.

When I'm far away from the person, I cannot see her needs.

Even thinking requires materials.
We need to know a lot of things to think deeply.

Avant-Garde Art

I don't understand most works of avant-garde art.

Nonetheless, they exist in this world.

The Loser's Lament II

If you start blaming others after you've lost, you will become a real loser.

Whether they are instant noodles or some other things, I give thanks to the fact that I have something to eat.

Perseverance

Can we also develop perseverance through training?

I think so.
I'll do my best.

(I have final exams on this week and the next.)

The Best Way to Get Revenge

When you are scoffed by others, try to think like this.

"You'll regret it in ten years."

Then, continuously improve yourself.
It's even better, if you forget about the fact that you are scoffed during that ten years.

Italian Opera

When I was watching an Italian opera with English subtitle at the music class, I suddenly got one question.

"Can Italians understand this opera completely?"

For example, I don't understand the Japanese traditional dance-drama (like opera!) such as Noh or Kabuki without today's Japanese subtitle. The words they use are too old to be understood by today's Japanese. Like this, today's Italians may not understand Italian opera's words. (The opera we watched is almost 250 years old!)

Now, I really want to ask Italians about how much they understand their opera.

In My Own Words

Even if I run out of material, I must not just copy other people's words.
I need to write something in my own words.

This means that there is always speculation when we see others.

The Okinawan Time

I always come back to a slower rhythm called "Okinawan time" when I don't have nothing special to do.

People in Okinawa (the south end of Japan) usually come 20 to 30 minutes late from the appointed time, and this not-so-good habit or the easygoing life style is called Okinawan time.

Because tomorrow's class has been cancelled, I already feel a little foolish, and doing things almost an hour late from the usual schedule.

But now I have to rewind myself and start studying.
