There are voices still singing Christmas tunes in my head.
If I were in Japan, it would have been changed to the tunes of New Year.
How big the power of TV or radio's music is!

I'm a Japanese student trying to improve my writing skills in English. So if you have time, please correct my English. It'll greatly help my writing. Oh, you can write your comments without correcting my English, but please don't use the space for advertising...

Are there special tunes for New Year in Japan? The only song I associate with New Year is "auld lang syne", which people sing New Year's Eve in somber droning voices. (I think it was a Scot tune originally). I'm still humming Christmas carols myself.
Yes, Japanese originally put more emphasis on New Year's Day than Christmas, so there are many tunes associated with it.
