Yesterday, I found that my text book which I placed near a window has gotten moldy.
There were some days when we had heavy window condensation, so I put an old sheet under the window, but I completely did not think about the text book.
Now, I'll be more careful not to place the text books near the window.

Oh yes. I've had books in my cabin get mildewed or moldy. One year the rain came in down one wall and we didn't notice till it was too late.I hope you can replace your textbook easily.
I bought a new textbook the just before this post. I put the new one near my desk, so I think it doesn't get moldy.
The mildewed one was a cheep, old, 4th edition (new one is 6th), and I've been cutting some pages off, so I did not mind to throw away anyway.
