It can be said that a person who always wastes his breath has a mighty pride.
He does so because he wants to protect his pride, but I'm sure that if he really wants to protect it, he just needs to admit the defeat and learn from it.

Pride
It can be said that a person who always wastes (not waste) his breath has a mighty pride.
He does(not do) so because he wants to protect his pride, but I'm sure that if he really wants to protect it, he just needs (not need) to admit the defeat and learn from it.
Just verbs. An insightful post, Saku, I think you are very right. People who talk a lot, loudly and self importantly, are often full of pride but not much else.
Wow...
I made very elementary mistakes.
I need to work more.
Sometimes when I'm tired I make pretty silly mistakes. I have to write notes from meetings often, and usually proof read the draft notes carefully--but sometimes I am tired, or in a hurry, and then I make the oddest mistakes. In my own language, too!
Don't worry about yours.
