The Bus and My Ego

When the bus comes late, I get irritated, but when I'm late, I hope the bus will come late.
I think I'm so egotistic.

Pride

It can be said that a person who always wastes his breath has a mighty pride.
He does so because he wants to protect his pride, but I'm sure that if he really wants to protect it, he just needs to admit the defeat and learn from it.

The Electric Light

One invention I really like in history is the electric light.
Because of this invention, we can watch TV at night, and enjoy the Olympic closing ceremony.

Imagination

The power of our imagination is so strong that we can even create our own world.

By using this power, we have created all of the discoveries and inventions, and have made our dreams possible.
Therefore, I strongly imagine that we can overcome all of the difficult problems one by one, and can create a hopeful, peaceful, and exciting future.

Practice and Be Refreshed

Today, I realized the real reason of the tiredness of the last month.

Last month, I didn't practice violin with the full sound at all. I didn't go to the practice room because of the continued rain, and so I only practiced inside my room with a mute. Then, with such nervousness, I couldn't refresh from the tiredness of my study.
Violin has become such an important thing for me.

Requirement

Today, I slept a lot.
Now, I can go forward.
(But I sometimes think that if my body didn't need rest, I can do many more things.)

Feelings

It's very difficult to be kind to others when I'm not happy.

When I'm hungry, I say harsh things to others, and when I'm angry, I don't want to talk to anybody. When I think dark things, everything look dark, but when I'm happy, everything looks happy.

How important it is to control one's own feelings.
It decides everything.

An Inner Child

Somewhere in my mind, there existed a very bossy person.
She was so bossy.
She wanted to win against everybody, and wanted to control everybody. She never wanted to lose and so refused other's help completely.

Why was she so bossy?
It's because she had already knew that how weak her real part was. She knew it unconsciously, and was trying to protect that part instinctively. She thought that if she wore a bossy mask and hid that weakness, nobody would accuse it.
Her plan succeeded in some level, but then, instead of being accused, she fell in the hell of loneliness.

She was a stubborn three-year-old child in mind.
She didn't know how she had already been accepted and been loved by so many others.

When I found her, she was hiding herself behind the door, but when I smiled, she slowly showed up and came near. Now she is smiling happily, and playing around me.

When I first saw her, I swore to myself that; I'll never accuse her, I'll never let her alone, and I'll be always near to her.

This was the new beginning in my life.

Feet

When my feet are cold, I feel sad, but when they are warm, I'm happy.
I think I'm so simple.

One Hour

I don't like Math,
but I decided that I'll study it everyday at least one hour. I'm sure that this isn't enough, but right now, this is my maximum. I'll study it for an hour and eventually, I can make it longer, and then I can study as before.

Beauty

Recently, I realized that a beauty depends on her facial expression.

When I think about beauty, I always remind about one girl I met.

About five years ago, I met a beautiful girl at a small English school.
She always put makeup very well, and was indeed beautiful. However, she did not know that her facial expression was the most important thing to care. Although she concerned very much about her face, she always tightened her lips and always recounted her grievances to us.

So, as I knew more about her, I felt more uneasiness, and then disliked her.
One day, when I was looking at her, I suddenly thought that "Her face looks like a frog."
From the first time I met her, I was thinking like "Her face reminds me something... but what's this 'something' ? " - 'A frog' was the answer. ...You may think I'm awful as I thought that to myself.

Until now, I've never said about this to anybody, but it's already been five years, and now I can remind about her without feeling any disgust.

She was the one who first made me think deeply about beauty, so I guess I even have to thank to her.

Test Hours

Today's mid was a big mess.
I made a really stupid mistake on this exam.
In the second question, we were asked to find a mass of an object. Mass in here means weight, and as you all know, a weight never gets negative (It's always positive!).
But I wrote the answer as "-3 kg"!!

How scary the magic of the test hours is...

During the Same Day

I finally realized that how important it is to understand the class material during the same day.
Midterm 1 is tomorrow!!

Imagine

I played "Imagine" on CD today.
It's a nice song...
John's voice is good too.

Many Kinds

There are so many kinds of people.
How many and how deep could I know about them?
It's a never ending subject, and it's all about myself too.

I was printing Physics' past midterms and solutions of assignmentｓ, and lost track of time.

Tomorrow is Monday!
But I haven't read the experiment manual for tomorrow's lab.
Ummm...

A Song

Always, I want to have a song in my head.
Then, it's sure that I can do my best at the time I'm in.

With Many of Them

Everytime, when I see the Olympic opening or closing ceremony, I really feel that there are so many people who wish peace.
I also will join to the league of creating a beautiful, peaceful future.

Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, the Winter Olympic, Torino 2006 begins!
I'm so excited for the opening ceremony! In some way, the opening and the closing ceremony are more fun than the competition itself.

The Topic Sentence

It took almost 90 minutes to write an essay which was only one half of the note (double space).

I couldn't believe myself!
Of course it was a difficult topic, but the main point of this mistake could be this; insufficient planning.
I think, I need to decide the topic sentence more quickly, and I need to know how the introduction and the conclusion will be.

"What do you hear during a test most often?"
A student (a boy) answered,
" 'shit!' "

A Good Phrase from an Anonymity

I found a great phrase from a certain person's dairy ( in the social networking site I entered).
"Freedom was already there during that time I was challenging to a new goal."

I guess, I need to set a new goal for my study, so that I can concentrate again.

The Hidden Strength

Today, I watched a Japanese eighteen-year-old boy named Nobunari Oda's figure skating on the "Four Continents Figure Skating Championships." (Recorded one, though.)

I totally didn't know about him, and this was the first time that I watched him skating.
... I was really amazed by his hidden strength revealed on that program.

He fell down at the first jump on the beginning, and bumped into the fence. It took a little while for him to get up and concentrate again on the skating. Then, just after some seconds, he made beautiful jumps, so the commentator said "That's a fast recovery, I say." Therefore, I thought he was OK.

But then, after some movements, he stopped his performance. He was just moving with a desperate-looking..., and it seemed that he was on the verge of concede the competition.
I was watching this with the thought that "Oh... he may concede, and leave the rink any time now..."
It felt that long.

However, after that struggling, he started his performance again.
And even more, the performance clearly got stronger. (I was deeply moved by this strength, and was crying.)

Knowing such a great spirit gave me a great power, so I should also quit running away and have to start my studies.

Microwave Cooking

Microwave is so convenient.
It's a great friend of someone like me who is very lazy for cooking.
Maybe I should buy one of the microwave cooking books.

Relativity

We are now learning the relativity theory at Physics 220.
It's a very interesting stuff.

Music

Music changes the mood at the instant it starts.
How big the influence of it.
It may even have some influence for our body too.

As Many As Possible

There are so many great people on this Earth.
Some, I already found, and some, I haven't yet found.
To know about them really gives me power.
How many of them can I find until I die?
I want to know as many as possible.
