"Saudi Arabia"
is a country name, and right now, located in front of my eyes. (I mean, on the globe in front of me.)
So, let's check a bit about this country.
...
I found a new knowledge about this country.
It's the country where the holy city (for especially Muslim) "Mecca" is located.
Actually, I had leaned where Mecca is when I leaned World History, but I hadn't linked this city with the country name "Saudi Arabia."
I guess it's a common knowledge... but well, it's a new information for me.

This is an interesting post, both in terms of its theme (I too am often surprised at how much I do not know about where things are in the world--and many other things I do not know that it seems everyone else does.)--and (this is a bad, bad example of a run on sentence with too many parentheses. Or a good example of how not to write!)--it is interesting too in terms of language because of this line of yours:
I guess it's a common sense... but well, it's a new knowledge for me.
The phrase you want here is actually "I guess it's common knowledge".
Common sense is more like things for basic survival, like knowing to wear warm clothes when it is cold outside. Usually, in my life, people have talked about common sense in sentences like "Well, you might be intelligent, but you obviously have no common sense..." (because I didn't take an umbrella, or went out without some other important thing).
Common knowledge is things that one expects people to have learned about (but often they haven't!)
