Today, I tried to take concert tickets for the music assignment (attend a concert and write a report), but found that only the worst seats were left for me.
Today's lesson:
Prepare things ahead of time.

The Direction
Just like breathing, we are easily constructing everyday by our "thoughts."
Do you understand the importance of the direction of our thoughts?

9 : 1
To write, I need a lot of information. The ratio is about 9 : 1.
But, I guess everything is like that.

Flaws
The most unknown thing in this world could be oneself.
It is true especially when it comes to one's character flaws.

For Such Problems
There are problems that I can solve if I read a textbook, but there are problems that I cannot solve even if I read a textbook.
I guess that eventually, I need to think the later problems by myself.

Get Bored With
When I just bristle at the thought of something, I first try not to think about it.
Then, after a while I get bored with even bristling at it.

Study in Groups
I went to a friend's house this afternoon, and we studied together for a math assignment.
Usually, if I study alone, it takes about two days to complete, but surprisingly, it took only two hours and half to complete the assignment!
How amazing the power of study groups is.

Bits
A thought sprang in my mind when I'm looking at bits of cashew nuts.
"Are we also bits of this world?"
That may be so...

Some Certain People
Some certain people have never thought about being kind to others.
But, even such people are allowed to exist. This is the most benevolent part of this world.

The Yardstick
The opinions for some incidents differ from age to age.
Why?
It’s because the yardstick we use for estimating the past is always depend on the present way of thinking.
Therefore, we need to be very careful for estimating the worth of some incidents.

A Wonder
I can keep my concentration for about ten hours when it's manga even if written in English, but I feel sleepy after reading a text book for only about thirty minutes.
It's a wonder.

English Course
I failed the English course.
I thought I wrote OK for the final essay.
...Oh, well. I'd better to think this as the message from heaven that says, "You need a little more training. It's for your future, OK?" or something like that.
Anyhow, I must pass the course, so I'll take it this summer again.

Spare Time = Reading Time
I made a card that printed "spare time = reading time."
I'd better try to read text books more closely, so I'll put this card on the wall, and look at it whenever I have nothing to do.

The Size of the Earth
Dear Everyone, I said before, but I'll say again.
"A Happy New Year!"
About two hours ago, I came back from Hawaii, where the air is so warm, and the sky is blue, to Victoria, where the air is cold, and the sky is grey.
The size of the globe I have is one size larger than the basketball, and the distance between Victoria and Hawaii is about the width of the pocketbook.
But I feel a little about the real size of our Earth from this difference in weathers.
